My training and background comes from multiple schools of advanced technical training.
Here is a list of my most memorable experiences in the world of advanced hair education that has helped me become the stylist I am today.
My first experience with hair education was at the Aveda Institute, which is a world renowned cosmetology program. where I developed a strong foundation for my career in hair.
The Elevated Stylist Retreat is one of North Americas educational retreat exclusively for hairstylists, with a focus on wellness.
I started my career in hair at a bumble and bumble salon working under b&b trained stylists who mentored me to learn current razor techniques. In salon styling education with Bumble educator Corina Hernandez as well Bumble and Bumble University in New York City where I attended a two day styling course focusing on blow dry styling and Editorial techniques.
Jayne Matthews of Edo Salon in California is a master at cutting shags and has taken Instagram by storm. I traveled to San Diego to meet Jayne and learn how to perfect the razor shag and hand styling she is known for. I have continued to take her razor cutting classes online.
PONY education was my advanced razor cutting course. It was a two day hands-on Beginner Razor class With Corina Hernandez and Arron Russell.
This class was focused primarily on razor cutting technique and skill development.
I am sassoon trained at the Sassoon Institute in San Francisco, CA. I attended the ABC course a five day intensive cutting course that focuses on touchstone techniques used by Sassoon to truly perfect lines, graduation, layering and their combinations.
